Tunja We are proud to announce Thomas Fox Averill is our Keynote Speaker at this years writer’s conference.  Mr. Averill will be presenting:

Thomas Fox Averill is writer-in-residence and professor of English at Washburn University in Topeka, where he teaches courses in creative writing, Kansas literature, folklore and film. He is the author of two novels: Secrets of the Tsil Cafe, (BlueHen/ Penguin Putnam, 2001) and The Slow Air of Ewan MacPherson (BlueHen/Berkley, 2003). He has also produced several collections of short stories, as well as numerous articles and poems, He won the 2006 Kansas Arts Commission Fellowship in Fiction. http://www.washburn.edu/cas/english/taverill
